Clean bill of health for Dockweiler Beach

Dockweiler BeachLos Angeles County Public Health gave Dockweiler State Beach the green light to reopen Sunday, September 27, after four days of closure for clean-up of debris that washed ashore last week. See the official announcement here.

Dockweiler BeachDockweiler State Beach is closed as of Thursday, September 24, while Los Angeles County Public Health officials investigate debris that washed ashore.

Residents should avoid contact with ocean water, wet sand, and any materials washed up on shore in the area. Clean-up efforts are in effect.
