On February 4, 2010, the California Regional Water Quality Control Board issued a new Waste Discharge Requirement (WDR) Order Number R4-2010-0021 to regulate the District’s Soft-Bottom Channel (SBC) maintenance clearing activities. This WDR supersedes the 1999 401 Certification, as last amended in August 2008. The first Annual Project and Mitigation Monitoring Report to be submitted under the new WDR will cover the 2010-11 SBC maintenance clearing activities and was available on May 1, 2011.
