One man's trash is another man's treasure.  Find your treasure - or a market for your industrial by-products, surplus materials, and other would-be discards - on the Los Angeles County Materials Exchange website.
 
The Smart Business Recycling program was established to help businesses in unincorporated areas of the County reduce their contributions to area landfills.  The site can help you find recyclers in your area, based on the type of material that you need to dispose of. Or, schedule a free recycling consultation and we'll create a recycling plan specifically for your business.
 
The Los Angeles County RMDZ Program can help recycling manufacturers by offering a combination of business incentives and technical assistance.   The program is designed to retain and expand existing customers, and attract new ones.
 
This new County ordinance requires construction and demolition projects in the unincorporated areas to recycle or reuse the debris that they generate.  This website can give you more information, and provides access to forms and other resources.
 
Do you need help in disposing of hazardous waste generated by your business?  The Small Quantity Generator Collection Program can help.  Although run by the City of Los Angeles, the program is available to any business within the County of Los Angeles.
 
Proper handling and disposal of wastewater is essential to the protection of our environment.  The Industrial Waste Unit regulates industrial waste dischargers in the unincorporated areas and 38 contract cities in the County of Los Angeles.
 
Need a permit for your underground storage tank?  The UST Program regulates underground tanks in the unincorporated areas and 77 contract cities in the County of Los Angeles.
