Los Angeles County Airports
Contract Towers Saved! Fox Airfield and Whiteman Airport will be funded and remain open through September 30, 2013. Thank you all who helped to make this happen. We are still fighting to ensure that all of our airport traffic control towers receive funding and remain operational indefinitely. For more information, see the County’s response to the FAA’s initial decision to close the towers and the Contract Tower Association’s recent update.
