The News Clippings website provides all Intranet users with access to news stories that relate to Public Works. Intranet users can browse through an index of the latest news stories, or subscribe to an email list. Implementation of this website has eliminated the physical circulation of news items around Administration and Public Relations, and made the information rapidly available to all interested parties, regardless of their division. The News Clippings website quickly became a very popular feature on our Intranet, generating 3600 visits each month.

For its outstanding work in keeping the employees of Public Works informed in a timely and relevant manner, we are pleased to present the News Clips website with an E-Government Project of the Year award.
