Generation Earth

Generation Earth, Los Angeles County's secondary school environmental education program presents the fourth annual Battle of the Schools (BOS) Competition. The contest runs from January 2, 2002 to April 1, 2002 and is open to all middle schools and high schools in LA County.

BOS is designed for students to reduce the amount of trash leaving their campus. The winning school will be the campus that has reduced the most trash within any given three-week period of the competition.

Winners will receive an awards ceremony, a trophy and a free school concert from KIIS FM! Winners will be announced April 12, 2002.

Each team also receives the opportunity to work with the Clean and Green program, a partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District, to earn extra money for campus projects.
