How can I request trees to be planted in the parkway in front of my home?
Answer:
Residents can either request Public Works plant or apply for a Road Encroachment Permit on EpicLA if they would like to plant the tree themselves. All tree planting requests are reviewed by our staff to determine if the location is appropriate for a parkway tree.
For trees planted by Public Works, tree planting will be completed based on availability of funding and commitment from the adjacent property owner for watering of the tree for a successful establishment. Public works will complete tree trimming as determined appropriate by our arborist.
Trees can be requested online through our contact us page, through The Works iPhone and Android app, or by contacting us at 1-800-675-HELP (4357)
