Hello,
I hope you are doing well. In accordance to the Freedom of Information Act for California) to obtain records from Los Angeles public governmental bodies, I am requesting a list of all single family addresses whose water is disconnected/ water shut off and have been disconnected for at least 2 months or more consecutively. Water disconnected/shut off beginning on March 1st, 2023 to todays current date. I am not looking for one specific or single address but all of the addresses that have been shut off/ disconnected for at least 2 months consecutively located in Los Angeles county
Please include any and all available information for the most recent account holder as well. Please let me know who I can reach out to in regards to this matter. Thank you for your time and help, I truly appreciate it.

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding a request for public records. The Districts customer records are not to be made available to parties other than the customer and/or the owner of the served premises per the Rules and Regulations 1-H-37 CONFIDENTIALITY OF CUSTOMER RECORDS.

The Freedom of Information Act does not apply to the Waterworks District. Taking this request as a California Public Records Act ("PRA") request, the PRA does not require that the government create new documents (e.g. lists). Documents responsive to this request are customer utility information which is protected from disclosure by Government Code section 6254.16. No records will be produced.
