Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question:
Hello,

I received an agency referral from Building & Safety for GMED for UNC-BLDC230518000750 located at 1730 E Compton Blvd. What are the required documents I need to upload for this clearance? The plan checker circled fault study. Will a fault study be required for this project? Please let me know.

Thank you!

Answer:
For GMED review, submit any reports and a set of building plans, including the structural plans.
The assigned geologist and soils engineer will review this information in conjunction with a review of the State Seismic Hazard Maps to determine if a fault study and/or a liquefaction study is required for the property. The body of the Agency Referral sheet has liquefaction highlighted in red. The subsequent review sheet will state if additional studies are required.
