Question:
Resubmitting per request. Location: cross street of Fernwood Pacific, Hillcrest & Cave Way. Sign reads yield to up hill traffic. Fernwood Pacific Dr appears undermined due to recent mudslides and erosion activity. The map icon is placed on a parcel of undeveloped property. In the recent storms, we've noticed the erosion escalating rapidly here and are concerned the road will give way. There is a significant slope present. Road use has increased significantly due to TC Blvd. closure. Please

Answer:
Field observations completed on Friday morning, April 5th. Area of surficial soil failure is limited in area and appears to be outside the County road right-of-way. Overall slope below Fernwood Pacific Drive east of the intersection of Cave Way and Hillcrest Drive is globally stable and the roadway is not undermined.
