Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question:
Someone parks a boat on the street in front of my property on a permanent basis. Are there any regulations reguarding the parking of boats on the street for extended periods of time and can anything be done about it?

ANSWER:
Parking violations are enforced by the Sheriff Department, so they must be contacted for this type of problem. However, County Code 15.64.100 stipulates that trailers must be attached to a vehicle capable of moving it while parked on a public street. An exception is noted when the trailer is in the process of being loaded or unloaded. A link to the County Codes is shown below as a quick reference.
