Our Volunteer Program allows individuals who are not County employees to perform tasks on behalf of Public Works, primarily tasks that we do not and would not employ people to perform. Most of our volunteers are rainfall observers who keep track of rainfall totals. The program is not a way to gain future employment with Public Works.
