Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question:
Are there programs that exchange old toilets that use a lot of water to flush, for new water conserving toilets?

ANSWER:
The Los Angeles County Waterworks Districts (Districts) do not currently have a toilet exchange program or rebate program for the installation of ultra low-flush toilets. However, West Basin Municipal Water District (WBMWD) offers a rebate program to the customers of the Los Angeles County Waterworks District No. 29 and Marina Del Rey System. For more information about the program, contact WBMWD at (310) 217-2222 or visit http://www.westbasin.com/ulftprogram.html. For inquiries about other water conservation programs that the Districts offer, please contact us at (626) 300-3364, or visit our website at http://lacwaterworks.org. Thank you for your interest in water conservation.
