Answer:
A1: The minimum dimensions for a non-parallel, off-street handicapped parking stall for a park are 18’ in length by 14’ in width. The stall shall be striped to designate a nine-foot parking area, and a five-foot loading and unloading area on the passenger’s side. Note that required handicapped parking stalls may need to be van accessible parking spaces, which require an eight-foot loading and unloading area. Please contact Los Angeles County Building & Safety for more specific requirements in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

A2: standard parking stall dimensions are 8.5’ in width by 18’ in length for a regular car in a park.
