Angeles Forest Hwy Closed Monday

Open Through This Weekend  

Angeles Forest Highway will be reopened to through traffic this weekend beginning Friday, June 8, at 5 p.m.

However, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works has advised that the highway will be closed to through traffic on Monday, June 11, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The additional closure is necessary to finish a construction project on a portion of the highway between Aliso Canyon Road and Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road. 

The project was originally scheduled for completion this week but was delayed for one day due to unforeseen circumstances.

 The work, approved by the U.S. Forest Service, is located about three miles north of Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road.
