Angeles Forest Hwy to Reopen Tonight 

The Los Angeles County Public Works Department has advised that Angeles Forest Highway is closed to through traffic today, June 11, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The closure was necessary to finish a construction project on a portion of the highway between Aliso Canyon Road and Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road. 

The project was originally scheduled for completion this week but was delayed for one day due to unforeseen circumstances.

The work, approved by the U.S. Forest Service, is located about three miles north of Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road.
