Some of the nation's top female authors, athletes, television personalities, and business leaders will serve as keynote speakers during the third annual Women’s Leadership Legacy Conference, to be held on Thursday, October 18 at the Pasadena Convention Center.
Under the theme of "The Journey," the innovative conference will feature inspirational addresses, interactive break-out sessions, book signings, meet-and-greet sessions, and vendor booths.
This year’s star-studded line-up of presenters includes best-selling authors Angella Nazarian and Hope Edelman, television personalities Christine Schwab and Stacey Gualandi, Olympic Gold Medalist Inger Miller, and victim advocate, radio host, and former State Prosecutor Robin Sax.
In addition, the conference will feature Phyllis Currie, General Manager of Pasadena Water and Power, Rebecca Haussling, co-publisher of Pasadena Magazine, Martha C. de la Torre, CEO of EC Hispanic Media and El Clasificado, Brence Culp, Chief Deputy of the County of Los Angeles, and Gail Farber, Director of Los Angeles County Public Works Department.
The annual conference series was developed by the LA County Public Works' Women's Leadership Council. The previous two conferences were sold out.
The conference is open to the public and will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration is $60 per person and includes continental breakfast and lunch.
