Zone 32 Lost Hill Commercial
Fiscal Year 18-19 Updates:
Maintenance in Zone 32 is limited to weed abatement,
rodent abatement, and as-needed maintenance of the existing hydraugers. A major cleanup
was completed for the zone in April 2018. There are sufficient funds remaining in the fund for
Zone 32 to conduct all foreseen maintenance activities so the District has determined to
suspend any further assessments levied to any benefitting property owners within Zone 32
until the annexation proceedings are completed in Fiscal Year 2018-2019.
Zone 32, Lost Hills Commercial, consists of approximately 10 acres of landscaped slopes and flat areas within a commercial area south of Agoura Rd from Liberty Canyon Rd 2,700 feet east of Liberty Canyon Rd. Currently, the parcels that comprise Zone 32 are being annexed into the City of Calabasas. Upon the completion of the annexation Zone 32 will either be transferred to the City of Calabasas or dissolved.
Services include, but are not limited to the following:
- Pest and weed control
- Brush Clearance
- $2200 per parcel
- 5 parcels
- The cost to be assessed on each parcel is determined by dividing the total amount to be assessed by the number of assessable parcels within the Zone.
