• Residents living in the following unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County needing assistance in their rebuilding efforts can go to the specified Public Works' Building and Safety Field Offices:
• Three Points and Acton areas: Antelope Valley Field Office on 335A East Avenue K-6, Lancaster, (661) 723-4440
• Placerita Canyon, Fair Oaks areas: Santa Clarita Field Office on 23757 Valencia Boulevard, Valencia (661) 222-2940
• Residents living in the City of Santa Clarita can go to the City's Planning and Building Services Department, (661) 255-4330.
• The State of California Insurance Commissioner has established an information hotline for the public to use for questions on insurance-related matters. The toll-free number is 1-800-927-HELP. Information is also available on the Internet at www.insurance.ca.gov
• Public Works currently has 378,000 sandbags on hand for use throughout the storm season. The Los Angles County Fire Department has 300,000 sandbags on hand.
