About Us

The Los Angeles County Waterworks Districts (LACWD) takes pride in the service we provide to our customers and our communities. By supplying water to approximately 260,000 people, LACWD is able to maintain quality customer care and encourage environmentally responsible behavior. Our goal is to not only provide a reliable water source, but also to educate our customers and communities on water-saving practices.

LACWD provides water service to Kagel Canyon, Malibu, Val Verde, Acton, and the Antelope Valley. LACWD also operates and maintains the Marina Del Rey Water System on behalf of the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors, as well as the Rancho Los Amigos Water System on behalf of the County of Los Angeles, and manages the water quality program for the Peter J. Pitchess Honor Rancho water system.
