Los Angeles County Public Works is requesting Progressive Design-Build proposals from interested firms for Phase 1 - Pre-Construction Services and Phase 2 - Construction Services for the Olive View-UCLA Medical Center Continuum of Care Facility located at 14445 Olive View Drive, Sylmar, CA 91342. An in-person proposal conference and site visit to answer questions concerning the project will be held on March 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The proposal conference will be held on the second floor in the old lab building (the building with the glass double doors on the west side) next to Parking Lot H, at 14445 Olive View Drive, Sylmar, CA 91342. Los Angeles County Public Works is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide On-Call Building Evaluation and Structural Engineering Services for projects in various locations throughout Los Angeles County. A virtual proposal conference to answer questions concerning the project will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., via Microsoft Teams. Public Works recommends attendees are registered on Public Works' website at least 1 hour prior to the conference. The project's scope of work consists of renovating the former Los Angeles County Torrance Public Health Center located at 2300 West Carson Street in Torrance, California. The property is a two-story building of approximately 11,306 gross square feet, constructed in 1933 in a Spanish Colonial style. It was previously renovated in June 2005 and remains vacant after severe vandalism. The building renovations will include heating, ventilating, and air conditioning; electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler systems; ceilings and lighting fixtures; a new elevator; security and low-voltage systems; information technology equipment; telecommunication upgrades; and code-compliant public and staff restrooms. This project includes the Countywide Community Workforce Agreement (CWA).

The proposed project consists of renovating the existing boat launch facility and constructing an adjacent new ADA queuing dock in Marina del Rey. Work to include placing LID drainage devices, resurfacing the parking lot and providing accessible parking stalls.
