Avenue M and 5th Street East Wellhead Arsenic Treatment System

• Project Scope:
  Site improvements consist of installing 627 feet of steel watermain (size ranges from 8-inch to 30-inch), valves, concrete foundations, and other appurtenant work. An arsenic treatment system will also be installed.
• Project Benefits:
  Increases the District's groundwater supply thereby reducing reliance on imported water.
• Community Engagement:
  Community engagement occurs at the Antelope Valley Integrated Regional Water Management Stakeholder's meeting. Project information was distributed to the community prior to start of construction.
