Upgrade existing SW Facility

The proposed project consists of the construction of a new stand-alone approximately 1,000 square-foot 12 kilovolt distribution switchgear building, including underground infrastructure and equipment modernization, and Nonstructural Performance Category-5 Upgrade of the campus existing 12 kilovolt generators building.

Department of Public Social Services Building at Adams & Grand has been slated for demolition after the March 2023 fire incident. The Contractor will demolish the existing 6-story building, shore the basement & import fill and grade and compact the site turning it into a new surface parking lot.

The Los Angeles County (County) Public Works (Public Works) is inviting proposals from qualified firms to provide engineering and project management support services for the Bouquet Canyon Creek Recovery Project (Project). The County's primary objective is to select a Consultant, who provides the County with the best relevant channel restoration design experience and expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a cooperative environment based on mutual respect, interdependency, collaboration, and open communication.
