On November 21, 2023, the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) held a public meeting and approved the Los Angeles County Revised Countywide Siting Element (Revised CSE).

Board of Supervisors Public Hearing
On May 23, 2023, the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors conducted a public hearing and adopted a Resolution approving the Revised CSE and instructed the Los Angeles County Public Works to submit the Revised CSE to the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) for approval.
