The Municipal National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit is issued to the County of Los Angeles and 84 cities (minus Avalon, Lancaster, Long Beach and Palmdale) by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Los Angeles Region.
The Los Angeles County Public Works Stormwater Quality Division is the agency assigned as the Principal Permittee. Our goal is to improve the overall quality of life for residents of Los Angeles County.
