In 2012, Public Works (Solid Waste Information Management System), received the NACO Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties. This award recognizes innovative County Government Programs.
In 2012, Environmental Programs Division (Solid Waste Information Management System), received the 2011 E-Government Project of the Year from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. This award recognizes the best Public Works project using information technology to achieve the Department's business goals and to facilitate more efficient and user-friendly government services.
In 2008, Public Works (Solid Waste Information Management System), received the Digital Government Achievement Awards from the Center for Digital Government. The Digital Government Achievement Awards recognizes the most innovative, user-friendly state and local government portals.

In 2007, Public Works (Solid Waste Information Management System), received the Technical Excellence Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers-Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch. This award recognizes the contributions of branch members in specialized and nontraditional areas of Civil Engineering.
In 2007, Public Works (Solid Waste Information Management System) received a Best of California - Project Excellence Award from the Center for Digital Government for the best application serving organization business objectives and a Challenge Award from the California State Association of Counties.
In 2007, Public Works (Solid Waste Information Management System) received the Traditional Plaque Award from the Los Angeles County 21st Annual Productivity and Quality Awards Program. This award recognizes commendable achievements in public service. The Productivity and Quality Award is a countywide recognition program undertaken by the Quality and Productivity Commission, with the support of the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors and the Chief Executive Office.
