I'm looking for some general information about processing a lot line adjustment in the County of Los Angeles. I've been unable to reach anyone at the Regional Planning Department who can help me.
1) Who is the contact person at the County who shepherds a lot line application through the process?
2) At some point, or at several points, is Planning Department review a part of the process?
3) Must a recorded Record of Survey be attached to a lot line adjustment application (in addition to the worded legal description of the property to be adjusted), which shows where the existing property line is, and where the new line will be?
4) Is there a limit to the number of adjusted lots that can be referenced in one lot line adjustment application?
5) What is the estimated time it takes from filing a lot line adjustment application, through recording it with the Los Angeles County Recorder?
