Valley Vista Services, Inc. signed an agreement with the County to provide exclusive waste disposal and recycling services to the residents of Hacienda Heights.

As part of the new service, each household will receive three 96-gallon containers free of charge: one green yard waste, one brown refuse, and one blue recycling container. If you need more containers for either recylables or green waste, you may receive one of each at no additional cost, upon request.

If you would like to exchange the 96–gallon carts for smaller carts, such as 64–gallon or 33–gallon carts, or receive additional carts, call Valley Vista Services at (800) 442–6454 to arrange an exchange.

Customer Notice–Important Information about your New Franchise Services:

NEW RATE
As of July 1, 2011, the new rate for basic service is $17.69 per month or $53.07 per quarter. The discounted senior rate is $13.27 per month or $39.80 per quarter. This accounts for changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). These rates were calculated in accordance with the terms of the franchise and was reviewed and verified by the County to ensure the adjustment is justified.

Customer Self-Haul: Residents may collect trash in their own containers and transport the waste in their own vehicles to a recycling or disposal facility. Residents who self-haul must provide proof of recycling or disposal to Valley Vista Services, Inc.
