United Pacific Waste (UPW) has signed an agreement with the County to provide exclusive waste disposal and recycling services to the residents of Rowland Heights.
NEW RATE
As of July 1, 2009, the new rate for basic service is $20.14 per month or $60.42 per quarter. The discounted senior rate is $15.10 per month or $45.30 per quarter. This accounts for changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Producer Price Index (PPI), and solid waste disposal tipping fees. These rates were calculated in accordance with the terms of the franchise and was reviewed and verified by the County to ensure the adjustment is justified.
As part of the new service, each household received three 95-gallon containers free of charge: one green container for yard waste, one brown container for refuse, and one blue container for recyclables. If you need more containers for either recyclables or green waste, you may receive one of each at no additional cost, upon request.
If you would like to exchange the 95–gallon carts for smaller carts, such as 64–gallon or 32–gallon carts, or receive additional carts, call United Pacific Waste at (866) 699-7600, to arrange an exchange.
