METHODOLOGY: 2000 Second Interim Evaluation Study
In June 2000, 603 residents participated in the the Second Interim Evaluation Study conducted among Los Angeles County residents to:
- Assess the effectiveness of the program to date.
- Determine the feasibility of the program achieving its initial goals by the end of the five-year contract.
- Discover ways in which the campaign might be optimized for the final year of the contract.
The same sampling and screening criteria were applied to the 2000 study as were used in the 1997 segmentation/baseline study.
- A smaller total sample size was used because the data were meant to provide a total market read without analyzing individual subsegments of the population.
