About the Task Force

The mission of the BMP Task Force is to be an ongoing forum to facilitate the selection,
implementation and financing of effective BMPs through: data gathering, analysis, and
exchange; stakeholder coordination; and outreach. In the ongoing effort to improve the
quality of stormwater runoff and groundwater within Los Angles County, the Department of
Public Works, in conjunction with other involved stakeholders, has developed this website
for the purpose of providing and discussing BMP related matters.

If you are interested in the design, approval, purchase, use or maintenance of stormwater
quality best management practices, you are invited to attend a meeting of BMP stakeholders
on the first Monday of every month at 1:30 PM at County of Los Angeles DPW headquarters,
900 So. Fremont Ave., Alhambra, CA.
