Stakeholders formed an advisory committee to the County
The Floodplain Management Plan Steering Committee consists of government representatives and community (non-governmental) members, each of which are stakeholders in the FMP update.
The Steering Committee met approximately once per month (except December) at the LA County Public Works Headquarters, 900 South Fremont Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91803 (map). Meetings were open to the public. Community members were invited to provide comments at these meetings as well as during the public comment period.
