Summary
The proposed Monroe Community Wellness Center will be a single-story facility of approximately 13,500 square feet. The Wellness Center will include approximately 14 medical and dental examination rooms, 4 counseling offices, a business office, a nurse's station, dispensary, laboratory/phlebotomy, and health counseling and training rooms. This school based Wellness Center will provide much needed health services to students, their families, and the community at large. The project is targeting a LEED Silver Certification.

The project plans to divert construction waste from landfills, optimize energy performance and water use efficiency, enhance the sustainability of the site, improve indoor and outdoor environmental quality, and maximize the use and reuse of sustainable, recycled, and local resources.
