Los Angeles Regional Interoperable Communications System (LA-RICS) Authority Engineering Design and Related Services
The Los Angeles Regional Interoperable Communications System (LA-RICS) Authority invites proposals from qualified firms to provide engineering design services and related services for public-safety grade wireless telecommunications sites located throughout the County of Los Angeles.
The objective of this solicitation is to select a firm that is the best qualified to provide the requested services. The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works (Public Works) will be administering the procurement for the LA-RICS Authority, and the LA-RICS Authority will award an agreement for the requested engineering design services and related services, in its sole discretion, to the highest qualified vendor it reaches agreement with on fair and reasonable fees for this work. This work will be funded by federal grant dollars primarily from the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program ("BTOP") through the Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA).
