Los Angeles Arts District County Facility Replacement and Development Opportunity
The County of Los Angeles ("County") is offering the opportunity to redevelop two sites in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District. The sites, totaling over 1.5 acres, currently contain an office building and separate parking structure which are both occupied by the County Department of Public Social Services ("DPSS"). The selected developer will have the opportunity to redevelop the project to provide a new office facility for DPSS, in addition to other County approved uses proposed by the developer. The County is requesting proposals from interested developers that will take advantage of the highest and best use of the site's development potential while providing a new DPSS facility, which will altogether integrate with and complement Arts District activity. Notice To Proposers "A" was posted on 1/8/19 with details for an optional tour of the DPSS facility on 1/15/19. Notice To Proposers "B" was posted on 1/24/19 with proposals due on 2/21/19.
