Utility Service Permit Preparation


  1. 1.

    All users must register for an account on EPIC-LA to have access to the Blanket Permit

    Register for an account on EPIC-LA





Utility Service Permit Submittal


  1. 1.

    Login to your EPIC-LA account.

  2. 2.

    Select "Blanket Utility Service Permit" from the dashboard.

  3. 3.

    Select "Sub-Records" to apply for the Utility Service Permit.

  4. 4.

    Locations

    Select the blue box to provide the project address and/or parcel number. Parcel information can be found using the County Assessor's website.

  5. 5.

    Type

    Provide a detailed project scope in the "Description" box.

  6. 6.

    Contacts

    Add permit owner and contractor, they will need to create EPIC-LA accounts also.

    More Info

    Provide all requested information. Acknowledgements must be accepted.

  8. 6.

    Attachments

    Site plan.

  9. 7.

    Summary

    Review project before final submittal.

  10. 8.

    Once submitted you will receive an email with your permit number.


During the Permit Review Process: You may check the status of your permit application through your EPIC-LA account.




Utility Service Permit Review And Approval


  1. 1.

    Each submittal will be auto approved and a fee invoice will be generated in EPIC-LA, this needs to be paid before any further work will be performed.


  2. 2.

    Once issued, the applicant must comply with all permit conditions. The new point of contact will be field personnel.
