Antelope Valley Illegal Dumping Task Force

The Antelope Valley Illegal Dumping Task Force was formed pursuant to the Board of Supervisors' instruction of April 9, 1996. The Task Force meets to discuss and coordinate illegal dumping prevention programs in the Antelope Valley. The meeting begins at 2:00 p.m., on the first Wednesday every other month.

The December 5, 2018 meeting is cancelled due to a National Day of Mourning for the 41st President, George H.W. Bush.

A special meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 2 p.m.

NewFree Mattress Recycling Collection Events in the Antelope Valley
Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, in partnership with the Antelope Valley Illegal Dumping Task Force, will host four free mattress collection/recycling events in the Antelope Valley. Residents may drop off up to 10 mattresses/box springs at three Public Works Yards and a community center on the following dates: December 1st (Littlerock), December 15th (Lancaster), January 12th (Lake Hughes) and January 19th (Quartz Hill). Only mattresses and box springs will be accepted -- no other type of bulky items. For event details, please click here.
